Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows are no longer contracted to IMPACT Wrestling as of this past weekend, reports PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.

Sources have stated that The Good Brothers’ deals with the Anthem-helmed promotion expired following the company’s 16 July television tapings in Louisville, Kentucky. Despite this, the duo remain committed to working extra dates for IMPACT provided it fits their New Japan Pro Wrestling schedule, with Anderson and Gallows expected to keep working for the puroresu market leaders for the time being.

Becoming free agents would mean The Good Brothers are now free to field offers from other promotions as they see fit.

Fightful reported last week that Anderson and Gallows would remain in IMPACT until at least late summer, though their deals were originally believed to expire on 17 July. Additionally, the tandem is committed to NJPW until at least Wrestle Kingdom 17 (January 2023).

Anderson and Gallows have been with IMPACT since signing multi-year deals in July 2020, having been released by WWE at the pandemic’s onset three months prior. They currently reign as IMPACT World Tag Team Champions, having started their second run with the belts in June.
