Sami Zayn has been confirmed to be the next guest on Broken Skull Sessions.

Not just do we now know that the Great Liberator will be chewing the fat with Steve Austin, but it’s also been announced that the episode will premiere this Friday on WWE Network and Peacock.

Zayn will join Becky Lynch, Ron Simmons, Lita, Bully Ray, Cody Rhodes, and Jeff Jarrett in being Broken Skull Sessions guests so far in 2022.

With an in-ring career that dates back to 2002, the former El Generico has been with WWE since 2013. At one point dubbed the Heart and Soul of NXT – including a 62-day reign as NXT Champion – Sami has been officially on the main roster since shortly after NXT TakeOver: Dallas in 2016.

During his time in WWE, Zayn has amassed three runs as Intercontinental Champion and earlier this year had a mainstream media-grabbing bout against Jackass star Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38. Of course, the Quebec-born grappler is these days intertwined with the Bloodline on SmackDown – where he is a pseudo member of the faction.

In addition to his WWE tenure, the 38-year-old turned himself, as El Generico, into one of the hottest acts on the independent scene thanks to his work in the likes of Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, Dragon Gate, and Chikara. Away from the squared circle, the real-life Rami Sebei does fantastic work with his Sami for Syria fund which supports the Syrian American Medical Society.

A WWE Hall of Famer has been confirmed as the next special guest on “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions.

The Texas Rattlesnake’s sit-down interviews have become a huge hit with fans all around the world. The likes of The Undertaker, Goldberg, Sasha Banks and AEW’s Chris Jericho have all appeared in the past to discuss their careers and answer hard-hitting questions from Austin.

The most recent guest on the show was Cody Rhodes, who recently returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 after leaving All Elite Wrestling. That particular interview dropped on May 6.

In a tweet posted out the WWE Network Twitter account, it was confirmed that Jeff Jarrett will be the next special guest. It was noted that the episode will be released on Friday, June 3. The release will coincide with WWE’s Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event that will take place just two days later from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL.

Jarrett’s second tenure with WWE between 1997 and 1999 ended in controversial circumstances when upon the expiry of his contract, he left to join rivals WCW. Once Vince McMahon had completed the purchase of the Atlanta-based promotion in 2001, he ultimately fired the former Intercontinental Champion live on “Raw”.

After 12 years involved with IMPACT Wrestling, formerly known as TNA, the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion was invited back to WWE to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018. The following year, after being inducted by his friend Road Dogg, he was hired as a backstage producer, before reportedly departing the promotion in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In recent times, Jarrett has been performing on the independent circuit in different roles, notably with Game Changer Wrestling and with the National Wrestling Alliance.

The tell-all interview will be available to watch on Peacock in the United States of America, and on WWE Network around the world.

Can you hear that?

Cody Rhodes will be the next guest on Steve Austin’s celebrated ‘Broken Skull Sessions’ show. The WWE star will sit down with ‘Stone Cold’ on Friday 6 May to chat about everything from his company comeback to WrestleMania 38 and probably AEW.

Being honest, there’s just no way Austin and Cody can have a chat without bringing up Tony Khan’s promotion. That’s one of the biggest lures to any Rhodes interview these days, and it’s not like WWE has been shy to mention All Elite during previous episodes.

They even had Chris Jericho on WWE Network/Peacock for an interview last year.

Cody’s sit-down with the legend comes weeks after Austin’s latest chat with Bully Ray/Bubba-Ray Dudley. That was another fascinating piece of work from everyone involved, and there’s no reason to suspect anything less than awesome from Rhodes.

Rhodes is currently set to tangle with Seth Rollins at WWE’s upcoming WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view on 8 May. That’s a rematch from their ‘Mania 38 dazzler, and Rollins will presumably come up during the convo himself.

Brace yourselves for another winner from Austin and his team.

Big Time Becks is the next guest on The Broken Skull Sessions.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin‘s popular sit-down talk show on Peacock and the WWE Network will continue in 2022, and one of the biggest names in the company is set to be next in the hot seat.

This afternoon, WWE Network took to social media to announce that the first episode of Broken Skull Sessions in 2022 will feature none other than RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Tweeting out:

“The first #BrokenSkullSessions of 2022 comes your way Friday, 1/28 on @peacockTV in the U.S. and @WWENetwork everywhere else, and it’s BIG TIME. @steveaustinBSR @BeckyLynchWWE”

WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page is set to appear on Broken Skull Sessions.

Peacock has announced that DDP will be interviewed by WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin on the next Broken Skull Sessions episode. The interview will premiere on Peacock and the WWE Network on Sunday, December 19.

This will be DDP’s first appearance on Austin’s WWE show. Page has not appeared for WWE since his Hall of Fame induction in 2017, but he’s made several AEW appearances since 2019. Page returned to the ring at the AEW Bash at the Beach event on January 15, 2020, teaming with Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall for a loss to MJF, The Butcher and The Blade. This was DDP’s first match since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 in 2016.

The November Broken Skull Sessions episode featured Austin talking to Jeff Hardy. Other recent 2021 episodes featured top Superstars and Hall of Famers – Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, The Godfather, Chris Jericho, RAW Tag Team Champion Randy Orton, Sasha Banks, and Bayley.

It’s Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins!

John Cena’s planned appearance on Steve Austin’s ‘Broken Skull Sessions’ show has been shelved, and SmackDown’s sharp-suit wearing heel will now replace him on ‘Stone Cold’s WWE Network/Peacock series. Nobody really knows for sure why Cena is out quite yet, but Rollins should be an engaging guest regardless.

Both Seth and Steve certainly appeared to be having some fun in preview clips posted on WWE’s official Twitter account; the teaser showed Rollins presenting Austin with his own “custom-made” suit jacket, and it’s clear that both guys have some chemistry together.

That’s a big thing for ol’ ‘Stone Cold’.

His best interviews come when guests are either old buddies (like The Undertaker and Kevin Nash) or bring something bubbly to the party. Seth has the personality to make this ‘Session’ a winner, basically.

WWE announced that the next ‘Broken Skull Sessions’ episode will take place right after Extreme Rules on Sunday 26 September. Typically, the company tends to put Austin’s shows live before that (at around 10am EST/3pm BST) on the day.

Hearing Austin grill Rollins on everything from NXT and The Shield to Becky Lynch and beyond should be fun.

It appears John Cena will be a guest on Steve Austin’s Broken Skulls Sessions podcast in the near future.

Earlier this week, WWE Shop listed a new poster featuring Austin and Cena, calling it “Eras Collide” with the text Attitude Era meets Ruthless Aggression.

However, the poster can’t be purchased yet, as users are taken to a “Looks Like You’ve Taken A Wrong Turn. You’re In… Parts Unknown.” page with a photo of Papa Shango.

It is likely that WWE won’t start selling the posters until making the official announcement of Cena appearing on Austin’s podcast.

Cena has never appeared on Austin’s podcast before.

Last Sunday, a new episode of Broken Skull Sessions dropped on Peacock and the WWE Network, featuring WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

The next episode of Broken Skull Sessions will feature WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

WWE has announced that the next Broken Skull Sessions episode will air this Sunday, August 15 on Peacock and the WWE Network, with WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin interviewing Lashley.

The interview will air less than one week before Lashley defends against WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg at SummerSlam.

Stay tuned for more on the next Broken Skull Sessions episode with Austin and Lashley.

The next episode of Broken Skull Sessions on Peacock and the WWE Network will feature WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash.

It was revealed today, via WWE Network News, that Nash will sit down with WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin on Sunday, July 11.

This will be Nash’s first appearance on Broken Skull Sessions. The official synopsis reads like this:

“Steve Austin and two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discuss everything from ‘Big Daddy Cool’ and The Kliq to The nWo and the Monday Night War, as well as never-before-heard road stories.”

Austin interviewed WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather in May, and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley in June.

WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather (Charles Wright) is set for an appearance on WWE’s Broken Skull Sessions with WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin.

WWE announced earlier this month that a new episode of Austin’s interview series would premiere on Peacock and the WWE Network later this month.

In an update, The Godfather took to Instagram and revealed that he recently filmed an interview with Austin for the show.

There is no word yet on when The Godfather’s episode will air, but it should be later this month, the weekend of May 22 or the weekend of May 29.
